Chocolate may be top of mind for many people this time of the year, whether it’s chocolate-covered matzah or chocolate eggs. Spring holidays are made sweeter with the confectionary delight. But like so much else, the prices are skyrocketing. A global cocoa shortage, driven by natural disasters in key growing regions is making it more expensive to produce Easter chocolate.
