The Little Shop of Horrors — Roger Corman Full Movie

A LITTLE CONTEXT BEFORE YOU WATCH

Your viewing guide

A flower-shop assistant finds that an unusual plant has a dangerous appetite. Roger Corman’s The Little Shop of Horrors turns that premise into a compact horror comedy, with an early appearance by Jack Nicholson.

Why choose this one?

This is a good pick for an offbeat feature rather than a solemn monster story. Notice how the everyday setting of a struggling shop makes the bizarre plant feel even more disruptive. Its short feature length also makes it easier to fit into an evening.

Who it’s for

For fans of cult cinema and dark comedy. This is the Roger Corman film in the linked upload, not the later musical adaptation; choose it for that original version.

What to notice and try

• Check the creator and title if you arrived looking for the musical version.
• Expect horror played partly for laughs, rather than a purely gentle comedy.
• Add The Last Man on Earth to compare two very different classic horror premises.
