From the creator

(January 12, 2011) In 1988 Wendy Kopp proposed Teach for America in her undergraduate senior thesis. Today Teach for America has 8,000 corps members reaching over 500,000 students across the country. She describes how she realized the idea and understood that it had potential to be a successful business. She also touches on where she hopes the company will head in the future.
