Springsteen sees optimism in U.S.’s ‘difficult period’

From the creator

Bruce Springsteen says that while the United States is currently in "a very dangerous moment," the nation has faced other turbulent times. "I think we're going through a very, very difficult period," he told Geoff Bennett. "But I tend to remain realistically optimistic that the country will pull out of it, and something new will be born from it that is good." "Bruce Springsteen: Finding America in Song" is a PBS News special exploring Springsteen’s extraordinary career, his lasting impact on American music, and the opening of the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Monmouth University.
