Picnic In Paris

There are few cities in the world that are more equipped with green space for picnics than Paris, France. Wanting to escape the bustle of the city center we headed to the outskirts to have a quiet picnic at the bois de boulogne (Boulogne Lake). Borrowing our spare hotel pillow case as our blanket, we spread our food and drinks out along the grass as if we did this every other weekend ;) It was quite the feast! Red wine, Swiss cheese, croissants, sliced meat, chocolate and hummus just to name a few of the items. After stuffing our beaks it was time for us to go rowing on the lake. Unfortunately, only one of us could paddle so I was stuck doing all of the heavy lifting for the better part of an hour; however, Audrey didn't seem to mind ;) Do you like to have picnics?
