From the mediaX Conference “The Experience of Immersion”, Jeremy Bailenson with the Department of Communication and the Founding Director of the VHIL Lab at Stanford University discusses how life is made up of experiences that change you, and how in virtual reality, experiences can feel real. So if real experiences can change you, and VR experiences can feel like real ones -- then virtual reality experiences can change you too. His research delves into how to create these experiences, on demand, that will change who we are as people.
