Deck the Palms

From the creator

Students, faculty and staff gather to celebrate the end of the year and the approaching holidays. Among the festivities this year was a performance of The Nutcracker in Dinkelspiel Auditorium by the student-run Cardinal Ballet Company. Another holiday tradition is the annual Messiah sing-along. The “sing and play it yourself” celebration of Handel’s masterwork is a long-standing campus tradition, conducted by music Professor Stephen Sano with special guest, Provost Persis Drell, playing cello with the strings section. The student a cappella group, Talisman, perform their holiday selections from around the world. Residential & Dining Enterprises created their annual holiday masterpiece with a Stanford-themed, life-sized gingerbread house. And the new Redwood City campus held their first gingerbread house decorating and holiday attire competitions. MUSIC ID: MB01FQ6IMITNIAZ
