17:23DC Motor - Explained
From the creator
What is a DC motor? How does a DC motor work? 3 Coil DC motors will be explained in this video. Direct current motors use a direct current, passing through wire coils wrapped around armatures on a motor rotor to produce magnetic fields (electromagnets). These electromagnets are surrounded by permanent magnets, which cause the rotor to rotate when a current pass through it. -- Related Videos -- Electric Motors: http://youtu.be/ErV5lGVso1w Magnets: http://youtu.be/7nhmJPMi4FU Electromagnets: http://youtu.be/1YSjRrijsRg Please feel free to rate, comment, and subscribe!
