Criminal Tango

From the creator

A man is chased by mysterious figures through an apocalyptic urban landscape. In a final confrontation, he realizes that he cannot escape his final destiny… An animated version of « Film Noir » style. Solweig von Kleist’s comment in 2021: Realised 35 years ago, doesn’t the film mirror some of the current actuality? We are all running away from an invisible danger in an atmosphere of chaos and civil war, in an ongoing “danse macabre”, still dancing on the volcano… Prize winning at international festivals, Channel 4, France 2, Canal+, Arte. Available at the Cinémathèque Française, British Film Institute. Direction, animation: Solweig von Kleist Sound: Denis Mercier Editing: Thierry Verrier Music: La Cumparsita Distribution: Les Films Roger Leenhardt c/o M. A. Jézéquel Tel.: +331- 40 46 70 20 Paris
