Adela Raz served as the last ambassador of Afghanistan to the United States, a role she held when the Taliban returned to power in 2021. She previously served as the first female ambassador and permanent representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations. The following interview was conducted by the Kirk Documentary Group’s Mike Wiser for FRONTLINE on April 4, 2024, prior to Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.
