Attachment Theory

Psych2Go ↗

From the creator

Attachment theory states that a strong emotional and physical attachment to at least one primary caregiver is critical to personal development. John Bowlby first coined the term as a result of his studies involving the developmental psychology of children from various backgrounds. There are four types of attachment: Secure attachment (55-65% in non-clinical populations) Avoidant attachment (20-30% in low risk samples) Ambivalent attachment (5-15% of low risk samples) Disorganized attachment (20-40% in non-clinical populations) ORIGINAL ARTICLE Molly Barger +Link : https://www.psych2go.net/attachment-theory/ PROJECT MANAGER Erin Bogo SCRIPT Lyndsey Brauch VOICE OVER Christie K.
