May 10, 2012 - Debra Satz opens the Second Annual BiblioTech Conference and discusses the value of the humanities PhD degree. She explores the challenges facing students who receive such a degree as well as advantages they might have because of their knowledge base and skills. The Second Annual BiblioTech Conference at Stanford University sought to continue the conversation started at the inaugural conference about the role of the humanities in the technology industry. The program featured students as well as a keynote speaker sharing their opinions on the topic.
