Carole King recorded the Grammy Award-winning solo “Tapestry” album with background vocals and instrumentation by James Taylor and Joni Mitchell among others. King, Taylor, musician Danny “Kootch Kortchmar,” the recording engineer and record producer Lou Adler all describe how the album was recorded.
