Players have asked me to clarify the X wing. There are 2 types of X wing.. This tutorial shows you how to spot an X wing and then what to do once you have found it. The X wing is usually found in more advanced puzzles..

I Suggest that if you a new to sudoku please watch as I lay a foundation before working on spotting an X wing. You may wish to take notes. Tell your friends who have recently started solving sudoku.

For those very experienced and do not wish to see me lay the foundation at the beginning I introduce spotting the X wing a 10.50.

This is beautiful. I was just filling in all possibilities and always struggling to spot an x-wing; i’m going to try this technique and already pretty sure it helps a lot. Thanks again !

I came looking for copper and I found gold hahahaha

That was the first video I see on your channel and I loved it

You are so intelligent and charismatic

Much respect and affection from Brazil 🇧🇷

If you showed all the possible 9's would the x wing disappear? I find the x about half the time, the other half turn out as mistakes.

I really like your videos!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 greetings from colombia 💪🏼

Few problems with your visuals on utube…

1…you need to give 10 seconds on sudoku frame w starting # thick and dark color.

Viewers can copy this on paper and follow your presentation.

2….viewers also see

running text of your talk and super imposed

Utube title of your episodes…

This makes it difficult to see what you are writing at lower half of screen!!!

3….your body covers some of the # as well…

If all above could be resolved, it will be much better experience to follow you for people in my age group 74+…

Many of us have vision and hearing problem!!!

I am enjoying what you teach…

If I could master xwing, w wing, I feel confident solving 20 –23 digits sudoku..

What to do when I have 3×2 matching pairs in a row? 1-7 1-7 / 2-5 2-5 / 4-9 4-9 combo in the second row from top. None of the numbers below giving me the slightest idea of what numbers the matching pairs will end up to and this results me stuck because there's too many numbers missing from the middle and bottow rows. Any idea to what technique to pickup here or which tutorial video of yours will help me in this case?

Thank you po, for teaching me sudoku😊😊

Im happy that atleast now i can have fun playing sudoku…maraming salamat po again .😊

What fun! Thanks for helping us. ☺️

Thanks for your smile and cheerful video. 😊😍

It is a nice tecnique but I dont understand the logic .. if the 9s can be in other places of the same columns why do the candidates have to be in the same row?

Robin, can we have more than one X wing number? In this example what about the 8 or 2 in the first row? Was that a possibility as well?

I’m so glad I found your channel. I didn’t know about that technique, but I shall certainly try it out, thank you, you explain things simply.

Thank you so much for this. X wing is an amazing concept

I have to research the word “pun” again. Hmmm.

I love you 😘

The miniature star preauricularly sniff because mind regretfully cycle round a icy smell. knowledgeable, nondescript yew

I like the fact that you don't assume that we know everything. I'd rather be shown several times and get the idea to stick than having an expert whizzing through and saying Oh by the way there is an X wing. Thank you so much.

Thank you very much sir ….Finally I got the correct video

Thank you. Any one knows why the two 9s in X wing had to be in two separate blocks? I tried X wing with two 8s in the same block and it doesn't work. 🤔

Excellent sir I learned lot from you.

Thought for the day: Massive respect to Robin for his hard work, obvious talent and… well, we can make allowances for the dreadful puns lol. And I second some other comments – that this is the first x-wing explanation that I have actually understood! So, thank you very much, Robin 🙂

Good

thank you so much!!!

Wonderful video!

At 9:16 your placed a candidate 2 in row2, column 7. I don't understand the logic of that placement? Can you clarify?

why don't you make an X wing with 9 in r3c3,r3c9 and r8c3,r8c9.Then we have a different result. What makes you not to choose what I in dicated.

THE BEST WAY TO LEARN LOGICAL THINKING…NO GUESS! Thank You. OUTSTANDING*

***Locating an X wing variation from a labyrinth of myriad digits may be a fairly difficult task. Can there be some other comparatively easy techniques to take on a fiendish / expert level sudoku puzzle like this one?

cool…x-wing's a very interesting trick.

Wow!! Always heard about the x-wing, but never knew how to apply it! Liked and subscribed!! Thank you!
